In the movie High Plains Drifter Eastwood says, “It’s what people know about themselves inside that makes ’em afraid.” I think it’s what people know about themselves but refuse to acknowledge that makes people afraid.–me

We all have stuff inside us that we rather wasn’t there. We know it it’s there but pretend we do not. We hate it, we fear it and worst of all we see it reflected in others. We hate and fear them for that reflection.
