FI’ve read where people are now calling gender a social construct. To me the term “social construct” is a scientific sounding synonym for the word myth. In that context I’m inclined to agree. A myth is a story people make up to help them relate to the world. The thing with myths is that any attempt to reify them invariably ends in disaster.–me
